On August 11, Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Administration, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, received Bagdad Amreyev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States.

According to the information given to APA by the press service of the CMC, Allahshukur Pashazade said that he was very happy to see Bagdad Amreyev, who is a friend of Azerbaijan, in our country.

Noting that the Organization of Turkic States, led by Amreyev, has done great and valuable work, the chairman of the CMC spoke about the importance of the steps taken in the direction of strengthening the Turkish unity in recent years.

Sheikhulislam talked about the religious and spiritual relations that are developing and deepening on the basis of historical friendship and fraternal relations between the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.

Appreciating the care and protection of the national and moral heritage of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the chairman of the CMI specially noted the efforts of our country, which is loyal to its national and moral values, to the rise of the Turkic States Organization of brotherly peoples who have a common history and share the same religious and moral values.

Sheikhulislam assessed Amreyev's visit to him as an embodiment of the TDT General Secretary's respect for Islam.

He said that the Muslim religious leaders of the member countries of the Union of Turkic States intend to provide spiritual support to the joint activities of our heads of state for the sake of our fraternal peoples and spare no effort on the religious and spiritual level to convey the ideas of TDT to the hearts and spirituality of people.

During the conversation, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade expressed his gratitude for the fraternal support shown to Azerbaijan by the organization headed by Baghdad Amreyev during the 44 days of the Patriotic War, and also expressed his gratitude to the Turkish states for strongly condemning the recent vandal attack on our country's embassy in London and for their unequivocal support for our country.

Bagdad Amreyev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, noted that Azerbaijan considers it an honor to meet the religious leader of the Caucasus, and said that he values ​​the personality and activity of Sheikhulislam A. Pashazadeh.

Amreyev specially noted that Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, who is the author of the initiative to establish the Council of Muslim religious leaders of the member countries of the Union of Turkic States, made great contributions to the realization of this idea.

The guest spoke about the upcoming November summit of TDT member countries and informed about the work planned for this meeting to be held in Uzbekistan.

Bagdad Amreyev emphasized the importance of the meeting of Muslim religious leaders of TDT member countries to be held in Azerbaijan in October and expressed his confidence that this meeting will be held at a high level.

Emphasizing the unifying role of the Islamic religion and the importance of this common value for the unity of the brotherly Turkish peoples, Amreyev drew attention to the fact that the Turkish unity would be weak without this factor.

Later, the details of the document to be adopted at the October meeting of the Muslim religious leaders of TDT member countries were discussed.

It was stated that within the framework of this TDT, it is appropriate to take new steps at the organizational level in order to further improve the existing relations between the Muslim religious leaders of the Turkish states.
