The head of PDK's GP, Abelard Tahiri, reacted after the Vetëvendosje Movement published some statistics about operations against organized crime.

In a post on his Facebook account, Tahiri says that Vetëvendosje is trying to manipulate citizens with such statistics.

According to him, if you compare 2021 with 2019, it turns out that in fact during the Kurti Government, organized crime and corruption are being fought significantly less than in 2019.

In the field of organized crime, serious crimes, economic crimes and corruption, as well as terrorism, the situation is as follows:

"Raids and controlled premises, 57% less in 2021 (1072) compared to 2019 (2481);

Operations performed, 51% less in 2021 (571) compared to 2019 (1156);

Criminal reports, 49% less in 2021 (1091) compared to 2019 (2122)

Arrested persons, 39% less in 2021 (1356) compared to 2019 (2233)

Cases treated, 37% less in 2021 (1613) compared to 2019 (1613)

In the field of drug trafficking:

Criminal reports, 60% less in 2021 (541) compared to 2019 (1363)

The number of suspected persons in criminal reports, 55% less in 2021 (738) compared to 2019 (1641)

Arrested persons, 51% less in 2021 (792) compared to 2019 (1625)
