John Bolton, the former national security advisor of the White House, called the US nuclear deal with Iran a "big mistake".

APA reports that Bolton initiated the withdrawal of the United States from the comprehensive action plan on Iran's nuclear program when he was an adviser to former President Donald Trump, and the agreement was effectively broken.

After Joe Biden was elected President, the United States started negotiations on the restoration of contacts on Iran's nuclear program.

"I think it is a big mistake for the US Administration to show weakness to Iran by begging to return to the 2015 nuclear deal.

The administration was on its knees in Vienna, begging for a return to the understanding.

This is showing weakness not only to Iran, but to the whole world," Mr. Bolton said on CNN.

According to him, nothing indicates that Iran can give up its nuclear program.

It should be noted that yesterday, the US Ministry of Justice brought charges in absentia against 45-year-old Shahram Pursafi, a citizen of Iran, a member of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Sh.

Pursafi has been charged since October 2021 with plotting Bolton's murder.

The indictment states that Pursafi initially offered $250,000 for Bolton's murder, and later increased his offer to $300,000.

The "Axios" publication, citing sources, wrote that a conspiracy was being prepared against former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
