NK Arora warned

New Delhi:

On Thursday, the Supreme Court has commented on the increasing cases of corona in the country and the negligence of people in wearing masks.

In Delhi too, there has been an increase in the cases of corona for the last few days.

A record jump has also been seen in the infection rate in the capital.

Amidst the increasing cases of Kovid, NDTV had a special conversation with NK Arora, President of the Kovid Task Force.

During a conversation with NDTV, NK Arora said that for the last one and a half months, seven to eight different types of corona virus are spreading in the country.

In such a situation, we need to be very careful for the next six months.

If no new virus comes in this way, then it can be further cured.

But don't make the mistake of not wearing a mask right now.

Because right now the mix infection of influenza and covid is also increasing.

Wearing a mask is also needed to avoid the risk of monkeypox.

We should not be careless now.

He further said that since the last three months, the rate of investigation, whether it is RTPCR or rapid test, its number has come down completely.

It is a common thing that if we reduce the testing, then the cases will increase.

Today cases are increasing everywhere.

The reason for concern at this time is that how many people are getting admitted in serious condition due to this disease and how many new patients are dying.

When there is such a situation and there are less investigations, then more cases will come.

Therefore, in comparison to the new cases at present, we should pay attention to how many people are being admitted to the hospital.

The infection rate should also not be seen as a big concern.

In the last few days, those patients have died in Delhi from Corona, whose condition was already worse.

On the rate of hospitalization, he said that in the last three to four months, more than 99 percent of the beds made for Kovid across the country are lying vacant.

Overall, the situation is such that the rate of infection should not be disturbed.

But it is not that we should be careless, we need to be cautious.

The cases coming from all over the country every week show that there is nothing to worry much.

If we talk about the new variants, then many sub-variants have arrived in different parts of the country.

All the new variants are more contagious than the original Omicron, due to which the infection is spreading rapidly.

But in India, where almost everyone has had two vaccines, who are adults.

If Omicron happens again, it's not too serious.
