They found out what's new with the imprisoned "liberator".

"I bought onions and garlic for 32 rubles at the "atavarka", because by the end of the year he was deprived of parcels and transfers"

Oleg Gruzdylovich, who is serving a year and a half of imprisonment in Mogilev colony No. 15, fell ill again with the coronavirus.

The first time Oleg Gruzdylovich contracted covid was also behind bars, in November 2020, when he was sent to the Baranovitsky pre-trial detention center for 15 days for lighting a march in Kurapaty.

At the end of July, a sick boy was transferred from quarantine to the cell where Oleg is sitting.

Other inmates became infected, said the wife of the political prisoner Marijana Gruzdzilovich.

"Oleg had a temperature, chills, a strong cough, a runny nose, he was sweating - his husband told about this in a telephone conversation.

I am worried that he might have pneumonia.

It was very hot in the cell, Oleg could hardly bear the disease with high temperature.

I bought onions and garlic for 32 rubles at the "atavarka", because until the end of the year he was deprived of transfers and parcels, and I can't transfer vitamins," says Mariana.

"Mensktrans" successfully collects money from convicts

Courts with "Mensktrans" continue, to which Gruzdzilovich's wife constantly attends.

In total, "Mensktrans" filed three civil lawsuits against Oleg Gruzdzilovich for different episodes of 2020 - in the amount of 56,979 rubles 68 kopecks.

Lawsuits of "Mensktrans" against Oleg Gruzdzilovich are considered at once in three courts - Moscow, Frunzen and Zavodz, hearings are often postponed.

"Mensktrans" actually refused part of the monetary demand for the events of August 16, 2020 on Independence Square, as large sums had already been paid by the participants of the action.

The Frunze Court postponed the consideration of claims to September.

But the Moscow court combined the lawsuits of "Mensktrans" for the alleged stoppage of transport by Grudzdilovich into one case with another defendant.

And "Mensktrans" won the case, says Marijana Gruzdylovich.

"Part of the money (576 rubles) has already been paid by other people according to the court's decision.

However, the court decided to collect 23,006 rubles 90 kopecks "jointly and in full" from Oleg and another person, also convicted under Article 342 for mass riots for 2.5 years in prison.

And Oleg and that person have to pay a state duty - about 1,200 Belarusian rubles.

And if they file a complaint, they will have to pay another 5% of the amount of the claim," said Oleg's wife Mariana.

The moon instead of the star Venus

Oleg reads a lot, draws, does physical exercises, keeps fit, tells Maryana news about her husband.

He does not work in the colony.

Almost every day he writes letters to his wife and sons and grandchildren, Mariana says.

"Oleg is a very romantic person.

Somehow, in the middle of July, he saw the moon from the window of his cell and writes: "Maxim Bogdanovich has a touching poem about the star Venus, and we will be together at the same time - at 9:45 p.m. - to look at the moon and think about each other.

The poem contains the following lines:

"I'll be in a distant land, I'll be bored, I'll hide

my love in my heart,

Every night I wonder at the stars ,

I'll be in a distant land."

So now we are simultaneously looking at the moon instead of the star Venus.

When he first wrote, there was a full moon, then the moon disappeared.

In the last letter he writes: "The moon has risen again, mommy, come out."

Oleg also sent me a drawing on this topic," says Marijana Gruzdzilovich, unable to hold back tears.
