In the coming days, Iran will test a new satellite carrier.

According to APA's Tehran office, this was said by Iran's Minister of Communication and Information Technologies, Isa Zarepour.

He said that Iran and Russia will launch a joint production line of the "Khayyam" satellite.

"We will jointly produce the second, third and fourth versions of the Khayyam satellite," the minister said.

He noted that in the next two to three weeks, a new satellite carrier capable of putting a 100-kilogram satellite into orbit will be tested.
