Slovenian President Borut Pahor met today with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, CNN-Turk reported.

Pahor was welcomed by Erdogan in the Turkish capital with an official ceremony.

The two presidents are expected to discuss a number of issues, including bilateral relations, efforts to join Turkey to the EU, problems in the Balkans, the war in Ukraine, as well as other regional and international current issues, reports BTA.

Borut Pahor is on a three-day official visit to Turkey (August 9 to 11) at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Erdogan, CNN-Turk notes.

Today, Pahor is expected to address the participants of a business forum organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia in cooperation with the Turkish Association for Foreign Economic Relations (DEIK).
