CM Nitish can form the government with old ally Lalu Yadav's RJD and Congress.

New Delhi:

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has

taken oath as the Chief Minister of the state for the seventh time in the year

2020 .

Nitish, who is called the "Chanakya" of Bihar's politics, has

been the Chief Minister of the state continuously since

2005 .

In the meantime, twice he had to leave the chair for some time, but due to his political efficiency and foresight, he was again in the chair.

There is a possibility of power overturn in Bihar at present.

If sources are to be believed, CM Nitish, who was shocked by his decision, is once again in the mood to shock the country.

Time will tell what will happen in Bihar in the coming time, but in this news we are telling you that when Nitish Kumar, who was an electric engineer, took a political U-turn, which created panic in the state as well as the country's politics.

1. In the year

1994

, Nitish Kumar had surprised the people by leaving his old colleague Lalu Yadav.

Departing from the Janata Dal, Nitish formed the Samta Party with George Fernandes and went against Lalu in the

1995

Bihar assembly elections, but was badly defeated in the elections.

After the defeat, he was looking for some support.

2. During this search, he joined

hands with the BJP, which was considered weak in Bihar in

1996 .

This alliance of BJP and Samta Party lasted for the next 17 years.

However, in the meantime, in the year

2003

, the Samata Party became Janata Dal United (JDU).

JDU joined the BJP and

won a landslide victory in the

2005 assembly elections.

After this

, both of them ran the government together till  the year

2013 .

3. In the year 2013, when BJP declared Narendra Modi as the PM candidate for the

2014

Lok Sabha elections , Nitish Kumar did not like it and broke the 17-year-old alliance with BJP.

Actually, Nitish Kumar's ideological differences with Narendra Modi are old.

Nitish Kumar, who is running the government with the support of RJD, resigned from the chief minister's post after a crushing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections and handed over the chair to his government's minister and Dalit leader Jitan Ram Manjhi.

He himself started preparing for the

2015

Bihar Assembly Elections .

4.

Nitish Kumar, who was defeated by BJP in the Lok Sabha elections

2014 , contested the assembly elections in

2015

by forming a grand alliance with old ally Lalu Yadav and Congress.

In this election, RJD brought more seats than JDU. Despite this, Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister and Lalu Yadav's younger son Tejashwi Yadav became Deputy Chief Minister and elder son Tej Pratap Yadav became Health Minister.

5. For 20 months, the government of two old comrades continued to run properly but in

2017

a tussle started between both the parties.

The tussle that started in April

2017

took a serious turn by July, after which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar systematically resigned.

Since the BJP was the largest opposition party in the assembly then, the BJP decided to support the old ally, refusing to hold mid-term elections and Nitish Kumar once again became the chief minister.

This entire incident of power overthrow happened in a dramatic manner within 15 hours.

In the 2020

Legislative Assembly elections, BJP won more seats than JDU, despite Nitish Kumar taking oath as CM for the seventh time.

But once again the discord between BJP-JDU, which is holding power in Bihar, has taken a big form.

Speculation is rife that after 21 months Nitish Kumar may again turn around and form the government with old ally Lalu Yadav's RJD and Congress.
