Everything took place in the Vaidilos teatras building in Vilnius, near Lukiska Square.

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya

together with two guards appeared at the building at 11:45.

Huchenka quickly greeted some of the participants and went to the emergency exit.

Here, Tsikhanovskaya had an advantage, because others stood in line, then personal supervision awaited them.

Svetlana Tsikhanovskaya is going to a conference

Paval Latushka

could not stand standing in the general queue, especially since it was moving quite slowly.

He went to the building without a queue, no one was indignant and did not ask him to take his place.

But

Veronika Tsapkala

stayed as long as needed.

"I haven't talked to Svetlana for a year," said Tsapkala.

They did not speak on the day of the conference.

Veronika came to the event in a white suit, high heels, and a paper bag from the H&M store in her hands.

Her husband Valery, who tried to run for office in the 2020 elections, did not come to Vilnius, although he expressed many complaints about the work of Tsikhanovskaya's office.

Tsapkala was given a place in the first row, but completely on the side.

Tsikhanovskaya was sitting between Pavel Latushka and an employee of her media service

, Alexandra Logvinova.

Next to Latushka is the former ambassador of Belarus to Argentina

, Vladimir Ostapenko,

the representative of ByPol

, Alexander Azarov

, and the former head of the 38th paratrooper brigade in Brest,

Valery Sakhashchyk

.

Latushka will say from the stage that he developed the concept of a transitional cabinet with Sakashchik.

On the other side, in the first row —

Franak Vyachorka

,

Aleksandar Dobravolski

and

Anatol Lyabedzka

from the Tsikhanovskaya team, as well as

Dmitri Shchigelski

from the radical movement "Resistance".

Several hundred people gathered in the hall, the ventilation was not working well, there was a lack of fresh air.

Someone came to the conference in a strict suit with a tie, someone in shorts.

Siarhei Bespalov,

representing the regiment named after Kastus Kalinowski, was in military uniform.

Vadim Prokopiev

from the "Pagonia" regiment - in a strict polo shirt and a baseball cap, which he did not take off even on stage.

Olga Karach

, also known for her criticism of Tikhonovskaya, came in a dress with a print of kittens.

The opening was delayed for twenty minutes.

At the beginning, they showed an animated clip with the results of the work for these two years.

"Maybe we did everything wrong?"

- the first question of the day was heard.

And then there was a long list of what was done.

They allegedly came to the conclusion that everything was done correctly.

Tsikhanovskaya went on stage with a folder on which was a portrait of her husband, Sergei Tsikhanovsky.

She started speaking in Belarusian, shared her worries about whether there would be enough time to talk and look into each other's eyes in these two days.

"I am well aware that I am not such a leader as Viktor Babaryka or Masha Kalesnikova.

I don't have the same natural charisma as Sergey Tsikhanovsky, and I don't have the same strong character as Veronika Tsapkala.

I am not as persistent as Paval Latushka.

I don't have a hundredth of the stamina of Mykolai Autukhovich and the sharpness of mind of Vadim Prokopiev.

I don't have the same experience as Mikalai Statkevich or Zyanon Pazniak - and in general I believe that if people in the 90s had heard these people better, our country might not have faced the threat of losing its sovereignty.

I do not possess the strong qualities of all these and many other people.

What I have is a sense of responsibility and a willingness to work to achieve what I lack, what I did not learn and what was not given to me from birth," Tsikhanovskaya said.

Svetlana Tsikhanovskaya

The applause for her was long.

There were no provocative shouts from the hall.

When Svetlana was leaving the stage, Paval Latushka gallantly shook her hand.

Then the floor was given to former political prisoners.

The first to speak was

Olga Pavlova

, who was at Tsikhanovskaya's headquarters in 2020.

"If we admit that Belarus is occupied, why don't we act like in Ukraine?"

- she asks herself a question.

He says that it is time to create an army.

Applause was heard only from individual people.

This question, whether it is time to move to force struggle, became one of the key issues on the first day of the conference.

Only men immediately took the place on the stage: Paval Latushka,

Aleksandar Azarov

from ByPol, Vadim Prokopiev,

Dmitri Shchigelski

and Aleksandar Dobravolski.

The event was conducted by the host of "Belsat"

Siarhey Podsasonny

.

If he offered someone to speak immediately, Prokopiev quickly took the initiative in his own hands, although Latushka also wanted to speak first.

"The battle-hardened army in Ukraine will not notice Lukashenka's army.

Minsk will be taken in three days," Vadim Prokopiev was either provoking or optimistically drawing prospects.

He suggested that Tikhonovskaya take an oath to the Constitution during these two days, and if she refuses, then transfer part of her powers to the future prime minister.

Who will be this mysterious prime minister - Prokopiev remained silent again.

Both Latushka and Prokopiev spoke about the need to create a government under democratic forces.

Latushka asked the Rubs that the government should be formed within these two days, that they need their own Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dobravolski, speaking from the office, rather tried to point out that the role of the transitional government will be performed by the reformed Coordination Council, but decisions cannot be made overnight.

On the sidelines, Prokopiev said that he would not agree to this under any circumstances.

Franak Vyachorka called the future Coordination Council a "proto-parliament" that will adopt laws.

Between Dabravolskyi and Prokopiev there was even a small fight just on the stage.

But the matter did not reach an open clarification of the relationship.

Dobravolski and Viachorka already look more like diplomats than politicians.

They do not rush with loud words and verify everything they say.

Prokopiev, Azarov, and Shchigelsky talked about the fact that there are no other methods of struggle, except force.

"We have already tried everything, except the power scenario," said Shchigelsky.

Latushka also passively agreed with them.

In fact, Dobravolsky remained the only one who was not clearly delighted with this idea.

Alexander Azarov

On the sidelines of the conference, they say that the issue of the "military minister" at Svetlana Tsikhanovskaya's headquarters is actually being seriously discussed.

Reserve lieutenant colonel Valery Sakhashchyk, the man who led the Brest air force, known as the "Black Eagle", is considered for such a role.

At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Sakhashchyk made a sharp video appeal to the Belarusian military, asking them not to take part in hostilities.

At the same time, Sakhashchyk and his associates want Tikhonovskaya to say that this group will engage in armed resistance, but the office does not want to say it, they are looking for a compromise.

Most likely, the negotiations will continue this night.

Veronika Tsapkala's speech was also expected to be provocative.

After a couple of minutes of the panel discussion, one of her associates began to shout: "And when will Veronika be given the floor?"

Tsapkala herself thanked for such an offer and took the microphone.

She said that there are no independent mass media left in Belarus.

Apparently, there is no criticism of Lukashenka, and only the work of Tsikhanovskaya and her staff is covered.

"We founded a commission that will analyze the work of the so-called "independent media".

If we see that they cover the work of only one political force, then they should stop being called "independent" and they should not be given financial support.

It's not resentment that speaks to me, but huge disappointment," Veronika said.

Veronika Tsapkala

Tsapkalas met such proposals with disgruntled shouts from the seats and laughter.

There was no applause at all.

Then Veronika became interested in the accounts of Frank Vyachorka.

Again there was laughter in the hall.

The first day, contrary to expectations, passed without big scandals.

Various participants of the conference believe that their proposals will be listened to and relevant decisions will be made during the next day.

Also on Tuesday, Svetlana Tsikhanovskaya promises to answer the questions that people have for her.
