Chargé d'affaires of the German Embassy was summoned to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

APA's Tehran office reports that it was caused by a small number of people insulting the Koran and Islamic saints in Hamburg.

Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned the action on Tasua Day and said that it was a clear example of hatred, violence and extremism.

"Iran considers the German government to be responsible in this matter and demands that decisive steps be taken against the perpetrators of this attack," it was stated in the information.
