The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy and the President of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel had a telephone conversation.

One of the topics during the conversation was Russia's firing of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).

APA reports that the head of state wrote about this on his Twitter page.

Thus, Zelensky informed Michel about the situation at the front, as well as about the firing of the Zaporozhye NPP by the Russian army.

"Russia's nuclear terrorism requires a more decisive response from the international community."

Politicians also discussed the launch of the "grain corridor" and preparations for the Crimean platform summit.

Zelensky asked the President of the Council of Europe to help open the package of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine as soon as possible.
