The Croatian Institute IGH has signed an agreement with Macedonia for the services of expert supervision and legal advice for the construction of new highways that are planned in corridors 8 and 10d, in a total value of 22.6 million euros, the company announced.

As Faktor.Mk informs, the agreement entered into force on Wednesday, August 3 and was signed by the Institute of Zagreb IGH, as a leading partner, in a consortium with the Institute for Roads and the Public Enterprise for State Roads of the Republic of North Macedonia. Croatian Index broadcasts.

The work concerns the services of expert supervision and legal advice for the construction of the mentioned pan-European transport corridors in Macedonia, which will connect Gostivar with the Albanian border through Struga, as well as the Manastir - Prilep highway.

The consultant for the construction of corridors 8 (Section: Tetovo - Gostivar - Bukoiç and the project for the highway Trebenishte - Struga - Qafthane) and 10 D (Section of the highway Prilep - Manastir), should further say how much these highways will cost.

According to the announcement on the website of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, the total value of the contract is 22.6 million euros (without VAT), while the participation of the IGH Institute is 8.7 million euros (without VAT).

The duration of the contract is 58 months, while the first phase includes negotiations, design and execution for 46 months, and the second phase is a guarantee period of 12 months.

The new highways in Macedonia will be built by the American-Turkish consortium "Bechtel and Enka" through the conditions made possible by a special law.
