The parliamentary majority in the Assembly currently has 64 deputies and there is no blockade in the legislative house.

But, for constitutional changes, the ruling majority has never had 2/3 in Parliament.

This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs Oliver Spasovski on "Kanal 5".

He considers that the Bulgarians should be included in the Constitution of the country, even more so because of the assertions that they are the same people as the Macedonians.

Spasovski emphasizes that with the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution, the goal of proving that Macedonians are a special people will finally be achieved.

"Until now, the ruling majority has never had a two-thirds majority for constitutional changes.

This is what the Parliament is for, this is what the house of democracy is for.

This is where those debates are opened, arguments are presented and the decisions we have are made based on the arguments.

We have to say YES, because we consider that it is good that Bulgarians, Montenegrins, Croats, Jews, and maybe others should be included in our Constitution, but we should also listen to the arguments why they should be included in the Constitution.

This is a legitimate debate.

In the end, the opinion that represents the interest of the state should win", declared Oliver Spasovski, Minister of Internal Affairs.

But how to secure a 2/3 majority without the opposition OBRM-PDUKM?

Mathematics says that without the deputies of this party, the constitutional amendments cannot be voted.

Apart from the government's public calls to the opposition to provide support for these changes, and thus for the European future of the country, there is no concrete answer to this obstacle.

On the other hand, OBRM-PDUKM claims that there will be no constitutional changes and that their deputies will prevent this.

As is known, they have also signed a declaration in the notary that they will not vote for the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution, even though this is of no importance in the Parliament.

However, they insist on holding the referendum, even though they still do not know what the question will be.

"We want the question to be about the essence of the proposal, where all historical, identity and linguistic issues will be gathered.

We want the citizens to declare about this.

Towards the second half of the month, we will most likely come up with a concrete question and initiative for the implementation of the referendum.

You know that this can be done by collecting 150,000 signatures and of course through support in the Assembly," said Aleksandar Nikolloski, vice president of OBRM-PDUKM.

As it is already known, in the negotiating framework between Macedonia and the EU, it is precisely stated that our country will start opening clusters or chapters at the moment when the constitutional changes will take place, i.e. when the Bulgarians will be included in the Constitution ours.

If this does not happen, the negotiations will be terminated.
