Three ships with 58.4 thousand tons of corn have received permission to leave the Ukrainian port, within the framework of the agreement on unblocking the export of grains.

The first ship that transported Ukrainian grain that received permission to leave the port since the beginning of the war in this country, sailed on Monday from Odessa to Lebanon, as part of the agreement on safe transportation through Turkey, reports the Telegraph.

The Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul, which brings together personnel from Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the United Nations, has announced that two ships will depart from Chernomorsk and another from Odessa on Friday.

"It is estimated that three ships will sail in the morning from the ports", the statement said.

From Chernomorsk, Polarnet should have as its destination the port of Karas in Turkey with 12 thousand tons of corn, and from Rojeni 13.4 tons of corn should be transported to Teesport in Great Britain.

From Odessa, Navista will export 33 thousand tons of corn to Ringaskiddy, Ireland.

It is even expected that the Turkish ship Osprey S sailing under the flag of Liberia will arrive at the Ukrainian port of Chernomorsk on Friday.

This will be the first ship to arrive at a Ukrainian port since the start of the war.
