The Cabinet of Ministers has changed the "Rules of fishing for fish and other aquatic bioresources".

According to APA, the order of fishing for fish and other aquatic bioresources in meliorative reservoirs has changed.

If until now all the hunting tools that can be used in the mouth and channel of the meliorating reservoirs were allowed to hunt fish and other aquatic bioresources throughout the year, then the periods allowed for hunting in the meliorating reservoirs will be as follows:

- trawl fishing - seines, trawlers, venters and trawl nets - from January 1 to May 1 and from September 1 to December 31

- Eel hunting - venters - from January 1 to March 1 and from October 1 to December 31

- Shrimp fishing - venters - from July 1 to November 1.

The duration of crab and shrimp fishing with venters in the Caspian Sea has been reduced.

If this period covered the period from May 1 to November 1, now this period will be from July 1 to November 1.

Previously, sturgeon and golden fish were allowed to be caught in the Kura River from January 1 to April 1 and from September 1 to December 31 with dictorball nets and floating river nets, but this will no longer be allowed.

Another innovation is that venters are allowed to catch eel in the Kura River from January 1 to March 1 and from October 1 to December 31.

As in the case of the Caspian Sea, in the Mingachevir, Araz and Varvara reservoirs, the permit period for crab fishing with specialized fishing gear will be from July 1 to November 1, instead of from May 1 to November 1.

The next innovation is related to the permission to hunt the Lake frog in other water bodies.

Lake frog hunting with Domaca will be possible from May 15 to July 30 and from September 1 to November 1.
