A traffic accident occurred in Ujar that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.

According to the report of APA's local office, the incident was recorded today in the evening on the part of the Ujar-Zardab road passing through Khalaj village of Ujar region.

Zardab district resident Tofig Hatam oglu Gurbanov, born in 1995, hit Huseyn Murad oglu Ismayilov, resident of Khalaj village, Ujar district, on foot with his "VAZ 2107" passenger car.

The seriously injured pedestrian died at the scene.

The fact is being investigated.
