The ship "Razoni" has passed through the Dardanelles and continues its journey to Lebanon, Anadolu Agency reported.

This is the first commercial ship loaded with 27,000 tons of corn, with which the deliveries of grain blocked in Ukrainian ports begin according to an agreement signed by Russia, Ukraine, the United Nations and Turkey on July 22 in Istanbul.

Crossing the strait at Canakkale took the vessel two and a half hours.

After the inspection: The ship with Ukrainian grain continues its way through the Bosphorus to Lebanon

The Razoni ship, sailing under the flag of Sierra Leone, left Odessa on Monday morning in the direction of the Lebanese port of Tripoli.

At around 14:30 yesterday, after an inspection carried out before noon by an inspection commission of the Joint Coordination Center, the ship entered the Bosphorus and proceeded through the Sea of Marmara to the Dardanelles.

Grain deliveries are carried out according to the agreement signed in Istanbul, providing for the safe export of grain and food products from Ukrainian ports.

The agreement envisages the opening of three Ukrainian ports - Odesa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny - for the grain, which could not be exported due to the already ongoing six-month war between Russia and Ukraine.

Separately, a Joint Coordination Center was established in Istanbul to inspect cargo.
