The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has responded to the opposition, who criticized him for the decision to postpone until September 1 the implementation of decisions on reciprocity with Serbia, for identity cards and license plates.

Addressing the opposition, Kurti said that "we cannot act in a hurry for something that has been going on for 11 years".

"Now that we are discussing reciprocity, it would be better if it happened on August 1.

But I say it's better on September 1st than not at all.

It would have been better to have been in 2011 when you met in Brussels", said the head of the executive, reports Telegrafit.

Further, he said that the decision was taken because Belgrade's disinformation campaign was wild.

"Due to the huge disinformation campaign, we received a request from the US to postpone the execution of the decision until September 1.

So, because of Belgrade's wild campaign and not because of our lack of information campaign".

"We do not believe that we did not do a good and sufficient campaign.

For 10 minutes, 9 barricades were erected and it was proved once again that they are organized by the Belgrade regime.

In the circumstances we are in, we have made the right decision.

We are determined in what we do and we have the support of the international factor".
