Guwahati :

Assam has now become a hotbed of jihadist activities and five 'modules' of Bangladesh-based terrorist organization Ansarul Islam have been busted here in the last few months.

State CM Himanta Biswa Sarma made this claim.

Sarma told a press conference that six Bangladeshi nationals belonging to Ansarul Islam came to Assam to mislead the youth and one of them was arrested in March this year when the first module was busted in Barpeta.
