At today's meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC), the issue of the structure of the secretariat is considered.

APA reports that Rovzat Gasimov, deputy chairman of the CEC, informed about this.

He said that he made certain changes in the structure of the secretariat after studying the trends of the modern era and the changes taking place in our republic by the order of the commission: "There is a need to make certain changes in the Secretariat in a new format in a number of areas.

CEC is already dealing with the paperwork of about 35,000 district election commission members and other employees.

In recent years, a number of reforms related to labor relations have been carried out in our republic.

A new structural unit was needed.

It would be appropriate to create a new Human Resources sector within the General Department of the CEC."
