The next social support program reflecting President Ilham Aliyev's special concern for war disabled people was launched.

In accordance with the Regulation newly approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has started giving one-time payments not only to the participants of the 44-day Patriotic War, but also to the participants of the First Karabakh War.

The program covers servicemen and employees of internal affairs bodies who were disabled as a result of injuries received while in military service until August 2, 1997, when the Law "On State Compulsory Personal Insurance of Military Servicemen" came into force, and the heirs of those who died.

Elnur Abbasov, head of the Department of Social Insurance and Pension Policy of the Social Security Administration of Ukraine, says that the provision of one-time payments is carried out in a practical manner in accordance with the purpose:

"We do not require any documents from these persons.

8,800 manats are given to persons with first-degree disability, 6,600 to persons with second-degree disability, and 4,400 manat to persons with third-degree disability.

If someone receives a social security payment from us, the funds will be transferred to that card.

If one does not have one, they can get anonymous cards with ID from any IBA branch.

For this purpose, 70 million funds will be spent in the first payment tranche.

Yes, it is an indisputable fact that today the housing and living conditions of Karabakh disabled people who lost their health for the sake of the Motherland are being improved.

Rehabilitation centers are opened for their treatment, and when necessary, they are sent to foreign countries for treatment.

In short, the state's care for this class is obvious and is increasing year by year.

The provision of one-time payments covering 11,000 people is also of great importance in this regard.

The Deputy Chairman of the State Social Protection Fund, Zaka Mirzayev, told APA TV that according to the law, one-time payments are applied to persons who have been diagnosed with a disability as a result of an injury in military service until August 2, 1997.

However, persons who were diagnosed with disability after 1997 and received insurance payments later, but the amount of that payment is lower than 8,800, 6,600 and 4,400 manat specified in the rules, are also provided with one-time payments.

As for providing the heirs of deceased persons with a one-time payment: "The heirs of those persons will be paid in a par-active manner after receiving the inheritance certificate from the relevant notaries.

Those people who

If there are no names among the 11,000 people whose names have been paid today, they can apply to the DOST Agency and the DSMF in the relevant manner, apply for a certificate of the degree of injury, with references related to the determination of disability, and receive the payment."

The veterans of the first Karabakh war, who shared their impressions with APA TV, think that this step is a clear example of the importance given to moral values by the head of the country.

They are sure that the state's social policy regarding the families of martyrs and veterans will continue.

It should be recalled that 67 million manat one-time benefits were given to nearly 11,000 veterans of the First Karabakh War.
