The reasons for the increased gas price are in Russia.

It has to do with their market, they didn't fill their warehouses last year, they raised the price.

After the war, too much politics entered the gas and made Europe realize its folly and look for solutions.

This was said by the former director of Bulgarian Energy Holding, Valentin Nikolov

Valentin Nikolov was born in Dobrich.

He graduated from the University of Economics in Varna, in the program "The Day Live" on Nova News.

When you have reliable delivery, you also have a stable price.

If we move in the market one day ahead, and we do not have reliable supplies, the price will rise.

1/3 of the gas is at the contract price, everything else at the market price.

We import from everywhere, but we don't have enough sources, he added.

According to him, the price of gas will increase further and by the end of the year the 60% set at the moment will pass.

The Parliament's Commission to Investigate Factors and Circumstances for Non-fulfillment of the Contract, We Buy Russian Gas from Registered Greek and Bulgarian Companies.

They are intermediaries between Gazprom and Bulgargaz, Nikolov pointed out.

Ivanov: "Bulgargaz" bought Russian gas through an intermediary and resell it to us more expensively

Bulgaria became rich during the Crimean War.

200 years later, instead of profiting as an exporter of energy, grain, refined oil, we made our own crisis.

"Bulgargaz" has a BGN 500 million loss in just 6 months.

All the money of the holding goes to compensate the business, there are no funds left for "Bulgargaz".

We need Act 16 to come in to get gas from Azerbaijan.

Another option is to examine the contract with Gazprom, added the former director of Bulgarian Energy Holding.

According to him, the acting energy minister has the competence to deal with the gas crisis.

Regarding the sixth tanker with gas from the USA, Nikolov stated that, firstly, the date for the delivery of the gas has passed, and secondly, we do not have a place where the tankers can be unloaded.
