The European Union (EU) calls for an immediate end to the military clashes between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia around the Lachin Corridor and other parts of the contact line.

APA informs that this was stated in the statement of Peter Stano, the spokesman of the High Representative of the EU for foreign policy and security issues.

"Unfortunately, these clashes have already caused casualties and injuries.

It is important to reduce tension, fully respect the ceasefire and seek solutions through dialogue," the statement said.

Peter Stanon emphasized that the European Union remains committed to helping to eliminate tensions and continuing its activities in the direction of sustainable peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
