Ferizaj- The Basic Court in Ferizaj has fined police officials Fatlum Xheladini, Arian Obrazhda, Ardit Qorolli and Jeton Ramusholli with 3 thousand 400 euros for the criminal offense in complicity "Mistreatment during the exercise of official duties or public authorizations".

The judgment against them was announced on Wednesday in the Basic Court in Ferizaj, by the judge of the case Shabi Idrizi.

According to the judgment, the accused Fatlum Xheladini and Jeton Ramusholli were sentenced to imprisonment for a duration of 60 days, which sentence, with the consent of the accused, was replaced by a fine of 900 euros (each separately).

Meanwhile, the other two accused Arian Obrazhda and Ardit Qorolli were sentenced to 800 euros fine (each separately) for the criminal offense in complicity "Mistreatment during the exercise of official duties or public authorizations".

The accused are obliged to pay the amount of 30 euros in the name of the judicial lump sum, as well as the amount of 30 euros for the compensation of the victims of the crime.

Meanwhile, the injured parties have been instructed to fulfill their property-legal claims in a civil dispute.

Judge Idrizi announced that against this judgment, the parties have the right to appeal to the Court of Appeal, within the legal deadline.

According to the indictment, on December 17, 2017, around 11:30 p.m., initially in the vicinity of the "Hib Petrol" fuel pump, which is located on "Reçaku" street, in Ferizaj, the accused had stopped the "BMW" type vehicle which Arben Bakija was driving, in which Visar Neziri had also been a passenger.

The same people, it is said, had taken the passenger out of the vehicle which they had stopped, searched him and placed him in the official police vehicle, then they had also taken Arben Baki out of the window, (the driver of the BMW car) whom they then had lying on the ground and before handcuffing him they had punched and kicked him several times in the body and ribs, continuously even after the handcuffs were placed until they sent him to the vehicle in which they continued to hit him until they sent him to the police station in Ferizaj.

Whereas, Visar Neziri is said to have been beaten there while he was in the premises of the police station in Ferizaj, first Jeton Ramusholli had grabbed his two hands from behind and lowered his head, while Fatlumi Xheladini had slapped him, where apart from the slaps on the face which had been 3-4 times, from which he had also been hit in the stomach, as well as with kicks in the left hand, where as a result the victims had caused minor bodily injuries with temporary health consequences.

The indictment says that with the date, time and place as in the first point of this provision, as an official (police) in complicity they misused their authorizations, so that in the case of their arrest (the injured) and after they had sent to the rooms of the police station, they had mistreated the injured Arben Bakija and Visar Neziri, using physical and psychological measures.

With that, they were accused of complicity in committing the criminal offense "Mistreatment during the exercise of official duties or public authorizations" from article 198, par 1 in relation to article 31 of the Criminal Code, reports the sworn statement./Telegrafi/
