The commander of the police station in Gorazhdec of Peja has been suspended from duty.

KALLXO.com reports that Dimitrije Beshović has been suspended from the position of commander of the police station in Gorazhdec, Peja, under the suspicion that he misused his official position.

A complaint was filed against Beshović regarding several transfers of police officers to the same station in Gorazhdec.

These transfers are considered a "sign of revenge".

Commander Bešović is also suspected of having asked several village heads to collect signatures for petitions from the Serbian community in that area, perhaps they would be used for aid, but in fact the purpose is suspected to have been to remove a police officer from the station he led.

Some of the citizens who allegedly realized that they had been manipulated for the collection of signatures, after realizing the situation had withdrawn the signatures that had been sent to the Regional Directorate of Peja.
