Stoltenberg invites Kosovo and Serbia to engage constructively in dialogue and resolve differences through diplomacy.

After the developments in the north of Kosovo, the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, had a telephone conversation with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

Through a post on Twitter, Stoltenberg said that he and Vucic talked about the recently created tensions in the north of Kosovo.

"All parties should engage constructively in the dialogue mediated by the EU and resolve differences through diplomacy."

"NATO is ready to intervene if stability is threatened, based on the mandate given by the United Nations (UN)", Stoltenberg wrote further.

Otherwise, the Secretary General of NATO also talked with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, on Tuesday.

After the phone call with Kurti, Stoltenberg said that all parties should maintain calm and avoid unilateral actions./Telegrafi/

Spoke to #Serbia's President @avucic about tensions in northern #Kosovo.

All sides must engage constructively in the EU-mediated dialogue, and resolve differences through diplomacy.

@NATO_KFOR stands ready to intervene if stability is jeopardized, based on its @UN mandate.
