Dr. Kaur was working as Senior Medical Officer in Kharar Civil Hospital.

Punjab Health Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra, who recently came into controversy for publicly humiliating a senior health official on camera, was also criticized from all around.

Another such case related to him has come to the fore.

Dr. Maninder Kaur, sister-in-law of former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, has decided to take premature retirement after being reprimanded by the minister.

Earlier, the Health Minister had humiliated Dr Raj Bahadur, Vice Chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in front of the camera.

After which Dr. Bahadur had resigned.

Maninder Kaur is the wife of Dr. Manohar Singh, brother of former CM Channi, who contested the recent state assembly elections as an independent from Bassi Pathana.

Even though Dr Singh claims that his wife had opted for retirement before the health minister's visit.

But sources say that the transfer list that came out after Health Minister Jauramajra went to the hospital and his name was there, is the reason for leaving his job.

Dr. Kaur was working as Senior Medical Officer in Kharar Civil Hospital.

Health Minister Jauramajra had allegedly reprimanded Dr Kaur for the bad fan and filth during her visit to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Dr Raj Bahadur has not returned despite Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann apologizing.

Even though Mann apologized to Dr Bahadur, the Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson supported him for "regular inspections" of the health minister.

The incident related to Maninder Kaur is from last month.

It is more than 10 days before Dr Raj Bahadur was forced to lie on a dirty hospital bed.

After that he was transferred from Mohali district to Barnala district.

Sources say that two days after Health Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra's visit to Kharar Civil Hospital, he was transferred from Kharar Civil Hospital to Dhanaula in Barnala district.

However, Manohar Singh argued, "My wife has taken premature retirement due to personal reasons."

Also he said, 'We are living in Kharar and we cannot shift to Barnala.'
