"The Razoni ship loaded with corn, which departed yesterday from the port of Odessa, is expected to reach the entrance to the Bosphorus at the Black Sea around 9 p.m.," the ministry said.

The inspection of the vessel by a joint inspection team will begin tomorrow morning, the announcement also states.

The Razoni ship, which is carrying 26,527 tons of corn, has already been spotted in the sea off Istanbul, the TV channel noted.

The first ships with Ukrainian grain are leaving

The grain deliveries are made under an agreement signed in Istanbul on July 22 between Turkey, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and the United Nations, providing for the safe export of grain and food products from Ukrainian ports.

The agreement envisages the opening of three Ukrainian ports - Odesa, Chernomorsk and Yuzhny - for the grain, which cannot be exported due to the ongoing six-month war between Russia and Ukraine.

Separately, a Joint Coordination Center has been established in Istanbul, which will inspect the cargo.
