The investigation into the case of BSDP activist

Political prisoner Ihar Lednik is charged under Art.

367 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus "Defamation against Lukashenka" for publication in the party magazine "Pozitsia".

On July 18, the Barysau district court recognized the informational products of his Facebook page as "extremist materials."

As part of the criminal case, it is known that at least seven members of the BSDP have been summoned to the Investigative Committee.

According to the BSDP Telegram channel, Lednik is disabled due to heart problems.

It is known that he lost consciousness in the cell, after which he underwent an emergency operation on the gastrointestinal tract.

At the moment, the political prisoner's health is unsatisfactory, he continues to complain of stomach pain.
