In the last 24 hours in Europe, the share of electricity produced by wind plants was 8.4 percent.


This is shown by the data from today's WindEurope Power Numbers newsletter, BTA reported.

Of this, 7.5 percent or 580 gigawatt hours is electricity from onshore wind farms, and 1 percent or 74 gigawatt hours is "offshore" wind power.

With the largest share of wind energy are Denmark (53 percent), Montenegro (18 percent) and Sweden (17 percent).


The most in quantity over the last 24 hours was electricity produced by wind in Germany (159 gigawatt hours), Spain (110 gigawatts) and Great Britain (75 gigawatts).
