On August 2, at around 10 o'clock, the district prosecutor's office received information that 3 employees of the company engaged in demining fell into an anti-personnel mine in the territory of the liberated Karakhanbeyli village of Fuzuli district.

According to the information given to APA by the Fuzuli district prosecutor's office, it was determined that Yadigar Shukurov, born in 1990, Rovshan Alizadeh, born in 1991, and Gilman Huseynov, born in 1976, fell into an anti-personnel mine while carrying out demining work in the mentioned area. Y. Shukurov and R. Alizade received various degrees of bodily injuries, while G. Huseynov's right leg was amputated.

Prosecutor's office officers inspected the scene, appointed a forensic examination, and performed other procedural actions.

The Fuzuli district prosecutor's office is investigating the fact.

On August 2, 2022, an employee of a local demining company operating in the liberated territories, Huseynov Gylman Hidayat oglu, born in 1976, was performing his duties in the territory of Fuzuli district when an anti-personnel mine explosion occurred.

According to the information provided to APA by the Press Service of the Demining Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), several employees who were nearby were sent to the hospital for preventive examinations in accordance with the implemented International Demining Standards.

"The incident is being investigated by us, additional information will be provided to the public about the results of the investigation," it was noted.
