The Prosecutor's Office of Mitrovica still does not have a decision on the beginning of the investigations for the incidents that happened yesterday, last night and today in the north of Kosovo

This is what the prosecutor Njazi Rexha announced, who said that the investigations are still being conducted by the Kosovo Police.

"It is being worked on by the Police in this direction, we have not yet taken a decision to start the investigation.

Yesterday was an emergency situation, even the Police could not go to the scene without seeing what is going on, the investigations are continuing, we are gathering information and based on the information we will start the investigations", he said, according to Kallxo.

During yesterday, the day before the two decisions of the Government of Kosovo came into force, organized groups of Serbs blocked the roads leading to the border points in Jarinje and Bërnjak.

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Sveçla, barricades were placed in 9 different locations, which have now been removed and the border points in Jarinje and Bërnjak have been opened.

Sveçla has announced that from yesterday's developments, 11 citizens were injured and several cars of citizens and also of the Kosovo Police were damaged.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti, through a statement last night, said that the main people responsible for the tensions in the north are Aleksandar Vucic and Petar Petkovic.

While the Government of Kosovo, after the meeting with the American ambassador, has stated that it has pledged to postpone the implementation of the two reciprocity decisions until September 1, 2022, from the moment to Monday, August 1, 2022, when all the barricades will be removed and complete freedom of movement on all roads in the north of Kosovo.
