during the holidays "Celebration of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej" and special holidays that this government provides additional Make Thailand have a long holiday for 4 consecutive days. My family and I decided to settle down in Bangkok.
But the program has already been put in place to take one of his 8-year-old grandchildren, the other 4 years old, to explore various “modern” museums in Khlong Luang District.
Pathum Thani Province
including Rama IX Museum, Science and Technology Museum, Natural History Museum
and the Information Technology Museum ... which is under the supervision of
The National Science Museum Organization, a state enterprise under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science Research and Innovation at present
After all, I've been to almost every place with my eldest granddaughter 4-5 years ago. I remember that I had kept it and wrote all the "quirks" in its entirety.
Therefore, in this visit...I would like to ask permission not to go into much detail.
In addition to saying that
Almost every museum is still in good working order.
It is a source of knowledge in modern fields such as natural science.
And various sciences are almost completely complete. “Young” museums in the same way that I've seen and seen abroad and have written about it many times.
The need to use the word "younger" is because we are still very far from him.
But at least there is a museum like this.
It is considered a good start for development.
surprise
and excited for Thai children
to inspire them to keep dreaming
and to continue to think and learn when growing up in the future
Importantly, on the day that my family and I went to visit last week.
There are young families of the new generation who are single-child, 2, some ... lead their children to come and visit every museum, packed everywhere ... they are delighted to see it.
hope that the country
Our Thailand should continue to prosper in the future.
When these children grow up
From the latest statistics that say that our country has only 540,000 new born children per year.
And there is a tendency to decrease as well
Afraid that in the future, "manpower" or "human resources" that will come to bear the burden of the nation after our generation will be less every moment.
The only way to help our country to move forward relentlessly lies in the "quality" of the next generation's manpower, which, despite the "small number", must have a better "quality".
When I saw the young parents inviting their children to come and see these museums.
Thus the joy arose as already mentioned.
because this is the spark
Awakening Thai children who will continue to grow up in the future
To have hopes and dreams to be "quality" personnel in various modern fields directly
If I'm a little worried
It's where almost all modern museums are far from Khlong Luang.
to Rangsit
Will come once without a private car, it would be inconvenient.
and children from low income families
Or how will poor parents have the opportunity to come and study?
The opportunity to use these museums is a tool to inspire poor children to find ways to improve themselves.
To have the knowledge and ability to move their incomes out of poverty in the future...how possible?
Leave the Ministry of Education, leave teachers, leave administrators or government related agencies to help take care of this issue as well.
Do not allow this good thing to be “accessible” to only Thai children whose families are affluent.
Let's think about how many Thai children whose parents do not have a car...especially poor children in cities and rural areas...how to give them the opportunity to "access" as well.
For those of us Senators who have passed the "age" that should be recognized here and there.
(because I know it's a useless lifeboy) that doesn't matter if I go to see it or not...but if I go once, it's not bad.
In case it helps us to "sleep well", no worries, no worries... when we know that our country has prepared quite a good amount of preparations for the new generation of children who will be the future of the nation.
At Khlong 5, Khlong Luang, Pathum Thani near here.
