Samsung is introducing a new feature called Repair Mode.
Of course, you've probably come across the situation where you had to send your phone in for repair, which was full of photos, messages and other similar data, but we couldn't do anything to protect your data. from the servicemen.
The leakage of data from the phone that has been in service has often happened around the world, and the new function warns of a perfect solution for such situations, as it allows you to close the data, but not the phone, Telegrafi reports.
When you send the phone in for repair, you won't send the device closed, as the repairers can't test it if everything is closed.
Thus the servicemen have limited access to the device, they can test the device and see some applications without data inside them.
Once the device is returned to you, you can restore the phone to its previous state, which means you can get your data back.
This new feature, which Samsung announced in its latest Korean-language press release, will be available on the Galaxy S21 phones first, and only in South Korea.
The South Korean company has not announced whether Repair Mode will reach other regions, as well as what other models will support this function.
