The Democratic League of Kosovo announced through a press release that yesterday it gave support to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo regarding the extension of legality throughout the territory of the country.

"We condemned the attack on the Kosovo Police that was exercising its constitutional mandate.

We asked for coordination with the international community and emphasized that Kosovo needs security and peace the most at this moment.

From last night's failure, we realized that the institutions have not coordinated with anyone and that they were not prepared for yesterday's situation", the announcement states.

LDK has also criticized the meeting invited by President Vjosa Osmani, this meeting which was boycotted by the opposition.

"While today, after the failure, the President invited the opposition parties to a meeting with the Government.

For what?

To cover up failure and irresponsibility?

The opposition must be consulted and heard before action is taken.

The opposition can help the Government not to make mistakes, but it cannot take responsibility for its failures", says the announcement of the LDK.

LDK further adds that they support the establishment of reciprocity, as a fair measure of every sovereign state.

"At the same time, coordination with our allies is a permanent request of the Democratic League of Kosovo.

This coordination is the only condition for success", it is stated at the end of the announcement.
