The death toll in recent floods in Iran has reached 69.

According to APA's Tehran office, Najad Jahani, Deputy Chairman of Iran's Crisis Management Organization for Technical Affairs, said this.

He said that 6 of the 69 people who lost their lives in the recent floods that occurred in the country in the last 9 days were Iraqis, and 3 of the 45 missing people were Iraqi citizens.

He said that 39 people were injured in the floods, 3 of them are Iraqi citizens.

24 provinces of the country were affected by floods.

The highest number of casualties in this flood was in Tehran province.

The provinces of Kerman, Yazd, Mazandaran, Central, Sistan and Baluchistan and Luristan were also seriously damaged by the flood.

In total, 20,000 residential houses were damaged as a result of the flood.
