The office of President Vjosa Osmani reacted after the tensions in the north of Kosovo, on Sunday afternoon.

The President's Chief of Staff, Blerim Vela, has said that the barricading of the roads in the north is being done by direct order of the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic.

"On the direct order of Vučić, the illegal structures of Serbia in Kosovo have placed barricades on several roads in the north.

This is a blatant attempt to undermine the rule of law in Kosovo", he added.

"Facts about the recent events in the north of Kosovo.

For days, Vucic promoted the false narrative that Serbs are being persecuted by the institutions.

Today at 16:00, Petkovic transmitted Vučić's order to Radočić (sanctioned), the illegal structurers of Serbia started to erect barricades".

He further emphasized that Russia is fully supporting Vucic's escalating actions in the north of Kosovo.

"Vucic has clearly decided to stay loyal to his master in the Kremlin."

"Serbia will not impose sanctions on Russia because of the war in Ukraine, moreover, it is doing Putin a favor by creating tensions in Kosovo," said Vela./Telegrafi/
