The energy crisis, as the main topic facing Bulgaria and Europe, was the most followed in the last year.

It turned out that this will also be the topic that will be discussed during the official cabinet and in the election campaign.

The leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, indicated six priorities that will be included in the party's program - 4 - related to fuels and electricity, one to judicial reform and one to the new F-16 fighter jets.

Resigned Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov explained again that everything is fine in the energy sector, but Gazprom is not a reliable source in the conditions of the war in Ukraine.

According to him, depending on how cold the winter is, the 7 tankers he found will arrive.

According to him, the caretaker government should decide whether to sign the contract for them and how to transport the gas.

Energy experts Elenko Bozhkov and Ivan Hinovski commented on the topic in the program "Speak Now" on BNT.

Alexander Nikolov: There is gas, the costs must be made socially acceptable

Bozhkov showed the letter sent by "Bulgargaz" to the Bulgarian Energy Holding, which GERB also presented at their press conference earlier today.

"This letter exposes all the lies of the prime minister and Alexander Nikolov. The letter shows how at 11:5, when the president says that the government is leaving the country in energy chaos, they held a meeting and with a protocol decision, at which they accepted conditions , which are downright enslaving," said Bozhkov.

He indicated that the contracted quantities will be sold at 119% above the reference price, which means $11.57 per megawatt hour.

The same amount from Gazprom will be about 33% cheaper, he commented.

According to Ivan Hinovski, neither the time nor the costs of regasification and transmission through the Greek connector were taken into account, which will make gas more expensive by about 50%.

"Bulgargaz says that by the end of the year there is no possibility of deliveries to Revituza, it is not certain for Turkey because of the relations. July 27 Bulgargaz contacted the minister about the problems. What can the minister do during this time? This declaratively shows that Nikolov is laying mines on the next ministers and the next cabinet. In this letter it is written that the main problem is the regasification capacity of Revituza and the possibility of access to our cut. It is not planned to put the Komotini - Stara Zagora connection into operation," he said.

According to the two, there are signals from the Greek side about a number of problems with the interconnector, and the assessment of the Greek regulator is that Act 16 will not be issued for three months.

Bozhkov and Hinovski also emphasized that the agreed quantities of liquefied gas will not be enough for winter consumption.

"With these 7 tankers, we will have semi-steam and semi-industry. There are also other problems, such as the fact that Europe wants to reduce its consumption," said Ivan Hinovski.
