Bhopal:

There was a ruckus outside the Bhopal District Panchayat office since morning, in which a large number of Congress workers and leaders were present.

In fact, some members of the Congress switched sides just before the election of the district panchayat president.

As soon as it came to light, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri, Congress MLA PC Sharma, Arif Masood along with hundreds of Congress workers reached the district panchayat office and created a ruckus.

The situation became more explosive when Bhupendra Singh, a minister in the Shivraj government, and Rameshwar Sharma, an MLA from Huzur, reached the district panchayat office with members for the election, where Congress leaders including Digvijay Singh stood in front of the vehicle and drove the minister's vehicle inside. Didn't let go.

Meanwhile, BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma took a woman member inside the district panchayat office by covering her face.

The uproar continued like this for a long time and in the midst of this uproar, the election of the district panchayat president was completed.

Finally, after the results came out, the commotion calmed down and the BJP occupied the post of Bhopal District Panchayat President.

Ramkunwar Gurjar of BJP won the election of Bhopal District Panchayat President by defeating Rashmi Bhargava of Congress.

Ramkunwar Gurjar got 6 votes while Rashmi Bhargava got 4 votes.

At the same time, BJP has objected to the tussle with the police of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and other Congress leaders.

BJP President VD Sharma has released a photo, in which Digvijay Singh is purportedly seen holding the hood of a policeman.
