The Bulgarian bulk carrier "Rozhen" will be the first vessel to pass along the grain corridor from Chernomorsk to the checkpoint in the Black Sea area near the Romanian port of Sulina.

This was reported by the specialized publication Ukrainian Shipping Magazine.

Our ship arrived in Ukraine already in the winter and entered the port of Chernomorsk on February 21.

"Transbalkterminal" should have loaded it then with export grain.

The war changed the original plans and the motor ship "Rozhen" found itself stranded in Ukrainian waters.

It was only after two months in April that the crew was rotated.

Now, according to the publication "Rozhen", he has been given the opportunity to leave Chernomorsk and be the first to go through the grain corridor organized thanks to the Istanbul Agreement.

According to the portal, the ship is loaded with 40 thousand tons of corn.

The original destination was Spain, but now according to vessel tracking site MarineTraffic, the dry cargo will sail to the UK.
