The US commented on the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Russia.

APA reports that the representative of the US National Security Council, John Kirby, informed about this in a briefing held through the "Zoom" program.

"We leave the assessment of this visit to President Erdogan. Turkey and Russia have bilateral relations. Turkey participates in the implementation of the Joint Coordination Center," said Kirby.

Stating that the United States and Turkey are in contact on many issues, Kirib praised the agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain in Istanbul and drew attention to the UN-Turkey relations in this matter.
