The citizen of North Macedonia, Martin Jovanovski disappeared 18 days ago from the beach of Miti in Posidi of Halkidiki, but neither the Greek services nor the volunteers from Macedonia give up their search for him.

"The area in blue has been passed by the Greek services.

The area in red has been covered independently by our crew.

The investigation continues on both sides.

The Coast Guard informs boats and fishermen every day, OFKAT continues with their plan, and we with ours," says the post in the Facebook group "All for Martin", written by his friend Ivan, who was rescued after 19 hours staying in the water.

In the previous days, Greek services were searching for 31-year-old Martin and towards the Turkish shores of the Aegean Sea after searching with ships and drones around the Halkidiki peninsula.

The area near Lesvos, Samos and Athos was also searched from the air.

The seabed was also searched with an underwater drone, but there was no sign of the missing boy.

His brother and mother are in Halkidiki awaiting any information about him.

His friends Vasili and Ivan were rescued from the waters of the sea a few hours after the disappearance, their vacation on the dangerous beach of Miti went wrong and the three boys from Skopje were pulled by the sea current into the turbulent waters.

"On July 23, the search continued from the air with the involvement of the Aeroclub of Thessaloniki," the Greek Coastal Service OFKAT said on its Facebook page.

Some hope that Martin would be found was provided by the black shorts washed ashore by the water, similar to the ones he was wearing on the day he disappeared.

In Macedonia, through mobile operators and the Red Cross, donations are being collected from citizens to continue the search until he is found.
