On July 25, Autukhovich was removed from the meeting after he answered the judge's question whether he could sit in the negative.

Last week, Autukhovich was held in solitary confinement, but then a transfer was accepted for him, which presumably meant that he was returned to a regular cell.

Autukhovich is a Belarusian record holder in prison hunger strike.

In 2009, he fasted for 90 days, in 2005-2006 - for 74 days.

At the same time, he drank water.

In 2013, he cut his stomach in prison as a sign of protest.

Mykola Autukhovich is 59 years old, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, a businessman from Vaukov and a social activist.

He has been behind bars for more than a year and a half.

A total of 12 people are on trial in the "Autukhovich case".

On the evening of December 8, 2020, the state media reported on the detention of the "Autukhovich group".

According to them, behind the burning of a policeman's house in Vaukavysk and the blowing up of a police officer's car in Hrodna is a group led by a Vaukavysk businessman and former political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich.
