According to clause 2.4 of the "Regulation on subsidizing the production of agricultural products" approved by the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan No. 759 dated June 27, 2019, the Agrarian Subsidy Council, at its meeting dated July 22, 2022, discussed the negative impact of the increase in the price of mineral fertilizers on the crop sector for the purpose of limiting the 2022 planting subsidy for the main crops of wheat, barley, rye, triticale, potatoes, onions, cabbage, and garlic, as well as the replanting of corn, sunflower, soy, millet, sorghum, and potatoes, as well as handing over to suppliers made a decision to increase the amount of the product subsidy given according to the amount of cotton, tobacco and sugar beet.
According to the information provided to "APA-Economics" by the Ministry of Agriculture, according to the decision of the Agrarian Subsidy Council, in 2022 wheat, barley, rye, triticale, potato, onion, cabbage, garlic, corn, sunflower, soy, millet will be the main crops. , the increase of the planting subsidy and the amount of the final planting subsidy for replanting of sorghum and potato plants are determined as follows:
