A police officer has been suspended by the Police Inspectorate, as he is suspected of having fired a weapon in the village of Jezerc in Ferizaj.

His suspension was confirmed for the Telegraph by the chief executive of the IPK, Kushtrim Hodaj.

"Yes, a police officer is suspected of firing weapons, he has been suspended and is being investigated in a regular procedure according to the authorization of the Prosecutor's Office", said Hodaj.

Regarding the case in question, the police announced through the 24-hour report that the incident happened yesterday around 17:15.

According to the report, the Kosovar male complainant announced that two unknown men had fired a firearm in the direction of the forest and then left in a car.

"Regarding the case, two Kosovar male suspects were accompanied.

After the interview with the decision of the prosecutor, the case goes to regular procedure", the police report states.

We remind you that the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, from January until now, has received over 900 complaints, while it has recommended the suspension of over 100 policemen, while over 90 others have been arrested.
