"Our goal is to limit the forest fire in the land of the village of Kalugerovo as quickly as possible, therefore, together with the firefighters of the PBZN, about 100 forest employees and equipment from the state forestry farms are involved in extinguishing it."

Ivan Ivanov was born in 1975 in the town of Shumen, graduated from high school in the town of Shumen at the "Nikola Y." Secondary School, who checked on the spot whether additional assistance from the Ministry of Agriculture was needed in extinguishing the fire.

Minister Ivanov announced that the fire currently threatens about 1000 decares, about 20 decares have been destroyed, and two specialized helicopters are involved in extinguishing it.

"Clearings have been made to separate the forest that is not affected from the one in which there is still a raging fire," informed the Minister of Agriculture.

He thanked the employees of the fire department and the state forest farms, the volunteers and all the companies that provided equipment to extinguish the fire.

A pine forest is burning between the villages of Kalugerovo and Lesichovo, the situation is getting complicated

"I'm here to find out what the firefighters, the state forestry workers, and the volunteers need like equipment, extra help to get through what's going on."

We are doing everything necessary so that there are no more such incidents," said Minister Ivanov.

He indicated that today he issued an order banning grass cutting and machine cleaning in permanently grassed areas and arable lands until August 7.

The Minister of Agriculture also announced that he had ordered the State Forestry Department to provide food and water for all firefighters.

In connection with the agreements signed today in Istanbul by Russia and Ukraine with the UN and Turkey, which enable the export of Ukrainian grain, the minister commented that this will ensure food security in countries that are net importers.

Regarding Bulgaria, Minister Ivanov recalled that we are expecting a good harvest of 6.5 million tons of wheat, which will fully satisfy the country's needs and there will be an opportunity for export.

"To date, only about 6 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat have entered Bulgaria, a large part of which is for re-export.

It will be checked for quality and the possible presence of harmful substances.

We don't need Ukrainian grain, the harvest in our country is extremely good," concluded Minister Ivanov.
