During the last 24 hours, one case of death from the coronavirus was registered in Kosovo, while 1,390 new cases of infection with this virus were recorded.

The Ministry of Health announces that out of 3,760 tests carried out by the National Institute of Public Health, 1,390 people have tested positive for the coronavirus.

In the Ministry's report, it is known that 871 people have recovered, while 218 vaccines have been given, Telegrafi reports.

In total, the number of administered vaccines is 1,833,336.

Meanwhile, the National Institute of Public Health has come out with an appeal to citizens, requesting the wearing of masks indoors and vaccination.

"Kosovo continues to record an increase in new cases of COVID-19 with a tendency to increase in the following days.

Unfortunately, a case of death from this disease was reported today!

It is further said that in various countries of the world, numerous cases of COVID-19 are being registered, because the COVID-19 pandemic is not over.

"IKSHPK is continuing without interruption with the testing and tracking of all cases, contacts of cases in the community and laboratory diagnosis, therefore all persons with headache, cough, sore throat, difficulty in breathing, runny nose, fever, lethargy, loss of taste, are recommended to be tested.”

"In order to strengthen immunity and prevent new cases and severe forms of the disease, citizens are advised to be vaccinated, with the first, second and third dose, all persons over the age of 12 can be vaccinated;

with the fourth dose, people aged over 60 can be vaccinated, provided that four months have passed since receiving the third dose.

The Ministry of Health and the IKSHPK recommend that citizens, despite the calm and stable epidemiological situation in the country, be careful in implementing preventive measures against contagious diseases and get vaccinated against COVID-19.
