By 2026, the rate of detection of oncological diseases at an early stage will be increased to 45%.

APA reports that this was reflected in the "Socio-economic development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022─2026" approved by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev.

The document states that the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance, together with the Ministry of Health, should ensure that the rate of early detection of oncological diseases is increased to 45% by 2026.

By conducting such screenings, the rate of prevention of non-infectious diseases will be increased.
