The document says that supplies of aviation industry goods to Russia will be allowed to the extent necessary to ensure the safety standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

It is not specified whether the restrictions on the supply of parts for aircraft have been lifted.

On July 20, the EC approved another, seventh package of sanctions against Russia in connection with its invasion of Ukraine.

The restrictions prohibit the export of gold and jewelry from Russia and block the European assets of Sberbank.

The sanctions also include new export control measures and restrictions against more than 50 legal entities and individuals.



It is noted separately that the sanctions will not affect the Russian export of food products.

The European Union will not prohibit third countries from purchasing medical equipment and medicines from Russia.

Russian airlines refused to return to their owners foreign-made aircraft that were leased from them.



As a result, hundreds of airliners are deprived of legal service.

Due to the lack of spare parts, Russian airlines are forced not to use part of their fleet, disassembling it for spare parts.

Most of the aircraft of Russian carriers belong to foreign leasing companies.

Moscow allowed not to return the planes to the owners.
