The Commission of Infectious Diseases in Macedonia held its next meeting, in which it discussed the situation with COVID-19 in the country.

After the end of the meeting, KSI spokesperson Zllate Mehmedović announced at the press conference that the Commission has assessed that the situation is stable and that there is no need to impose restrictive measures.

"The situation with the pandemic is stable.

The health system has space in hospitals to manage the infected.

We estimate that we are still in the green zone and that there is no need to impose new austerity measures", Mehmedović said, among other things.

He added that the assessment that the situation is stable was made taking into account the vacant places in hospitals.

Mehmedović again called on citizens to adhere to the recommendations for protection from COVID-19./Telegrafi/
